Together we’ll applaud our region’s tourism successes and the people behind them.   Typically held during National Travel and Tourism Week, an annual observance to celebrate the travel industry’s essential role in stimulating economic growth and supporting vibrant communities. 

In the Richmond Region, we have a lot to celebrate

Richmond Region Tourism is proud to work alongside partners to welcome conferences, sports tournaments, meetings and leisure travelers to our community throughout the year. Our collaboration is working: More than 17.5 million people visit the Richmond Region annually, and they contribute close to $3.5 billion to the local economy. Tourism generates almost 27,000 jobs in the Richmond Region.
